New Restaurant News!
Counterpoint -- new wine bar, small plates spot in Golden Hill with local beer, wine. Always has a Loswt Abbey beer on tap (no website yet)
BICE -- new restaurant in the Gaslamp on 4th Ave (over by Oceanaire and Rama)
Kips -- new Japanese spot in Hillcrest. (no website yet)
I heard you talk about Kip's this morning on 94.1. Kips is actually a Chinese and Japanese restaurant which was originally in El Cajon (since 1956). The owner is a good friend and the restaurant likely will not be opening until sometime in December. The food is GREAT, both the Chinese and Japanese. You will need to talk about it again when it opens, please!
